After working in the financial planning industry for 9 years, mostly in Brisbane, Maria moved her career and life to Ipswich in 2001. After growing into a partnership role with a local firm, over 10 years, and growing that firm into HR Financial as it is today, she decided to take over the business herself in April 2016. Maria is the owner and director of Our Family Dynasty Pty Ltd trading as HR Financial, and an Authorised Representative of Synchron.

Maria is an Affiliate Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) and a Senior Associate Member of FINSIA.
Maria became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) through the FPA in 2015. She graduated from the University of Southern Qld (2009) with a Bachelor of Business, the FPA with a Diploma of Financial Planning (2003) and from FINSIA with a Certificate in Financial Markets (1997).
Maria brings with her over 20 years of financial planning experience.
Maria's specialty areas include Centrelink for over '50s, budgeting, debt reduction, pre-retirement planning, and salary packaging.
Maria was awarded the Count Female Adviser of the Year award in 2011.
Maria enjoys watching motor racing (go Lownsdey!!!), reading biographies, and collecting antique commemorative china. She also races in the SEKQLD Endurance Go Kart Series on her weekends off.
